This project was basically proposed by myself to volunteer my services to the STAR rescue group of Rowan Kentucky.  The good people at STAR work hard to rehome companion animals that are being kept in the some of the most awful conditions in a local animal shelter.  I found STAR after adopting one of their rescue dogs.  My dog Strider is the best dog you could imagine and I owe his lifelong friendship to the people of STAR. 

Working closely with the leader of STAR, I designed a logo to properly identify their organization.  The logo was prepped for web and print materials and sent to them in a variety of formats.

Additionally I have worked up a design for a STAR website which will be found at starrescue.org.  The site is currently in development but will most likely be a wordpress site with custom built theme, PayPal API donations, and a photo gallery. The site design also uses a widget from petfinder.com to show STAR’s waiting pets.
